The inauguration, according to a statement by his media office in Abuja, also aims to intensify nationwide stakeholder engagement in support of the ADC’s membership registration drive. The event took place at his Abuja campaign office, marking a strategic shift toward full-scale grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The coordinators, drawn from Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, are expected to strengthen state structures, expand campaign reach, and deepen citizen engagement across the country.

Speaking during the inauguration, Mr Hayatu-Deen described the development as a critical milestone toward building a credible national alternative for Nigerians. He said the movement represented more than a campaign, calling it a national platform anchored on competence, integrity and measurable results.

He added that continued stakeholder engagement and support for ADC registration underscored the campaign’s commitment to reaching every state, community and citizen. Growing national traction, he noted, reflected increasing public demand for leadership that understands citizens’ struggles and delivers practical solutions.

Mr Hayatu-Deen urged the coordinators to remain disciplined, focused and committed to promoting safety, opportunity and accountable governance at the grassroots. He stressed that the movement would be judged by its organisation, conduct, professionalism and ability to redefine political engagement.

Coordinators Tasked on Trust-Building

The national coordinator, Usman Song, described the inauguration as a transition from vision to structured national mobilisation. He said each coordinator represented the movement’s face in their respective state and must bridge its vision with citizens’ expectations.

Mr Song emphasised that the campaign was built on discipline, credibility, structure and strategic organisation. He charged the coordinators to prioritise listening, trust-building and genuine engagement as essential tools for building a strong political movement.
