In a remarkable turn of events, the 287 abducted schoolchildren from LEA Primary School in Kuriga, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State have been freed, marking a momentous victory against criminality.

Following their harrowing abduction on March 7, 2024, by unidentified assailants who whisked them away into the forest, hope seemed dim until their eventual liberation.

Amidst the looming ransom deadline of March 27, 2024, which demanded a staggering N1 billion for their release, the Kaduna State Government, led by Governor Uba Sani, announced the successful recovery of the innocent children in an official statement relayed through New Telegraph.

This monumental feat, achieved through collaborative efforts, saw the active involvement of President Bola Tinubu and the valiant Nigerian Army, who tirelessly worked towards securing the safe return of the abducted youngsters.
