The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Chikun/Kajuru federal constituency in the 2027 general election, Honourable John Dibal, has declared that his mission is to deliver development, unity, and positive representation to his people.

Speaking with Elanza News shortly after his victory in the party primaries held in the Kaduna South local government area, Hon. Dibal described his win as belonging to his constituency, particularly the less privileged, orphans, widows and youths.

He outlined a vision that includes strengthening campaign structures and strategic coordination ahead of nationwide engagements for the 2027 polls. Mr Dibal positioned himself as a grassroots politician committed to following the footsteps of his late predecessor, Honourable Ekene Adams.

“I am a product of my boss, Ekene Adams. We miss him. If he were alive, nobody would contest this seat because we believed in his vision and his plan for the constituency. I am here to continue from where he stopped,” he said.

The PDP candidate expressed confidence that his experience and dedication would usher in better days, adding: “My plan is to bring unity and development, serve humanity, work for the people, bring the youth together, and restore the spirit of togetherness our forefathers lived by.”

He noted that the late Ekene Adams had planted good seeds in Chikun/Kajuru, which would yield results. He called for an end to sentiments and tribalism, urging unity instead.

“I have many plans for Chikun/Kajuru, especially for youths, women, orphans and widows. They will be my primary concern. We need a free and fair election. We must protect our votes and vote for the right candidate. PDP is a party that has mercy for its followers,” Mr Dibal said.

He appealed to youths and women not to sell their votes. “Do not accept money or wrappers in exchange for your vote. If given, take it because it is your money, but do the right thing. Come out and vote for PDP in the 2027 general election,” he urged.
