A former Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Manzo Maigari, has over the weekend says Sen. Uba Sani remain the best Kaduna Governorship candidate amongs others following his track records at the National Assembly.
Maigari stated this during a media parley with Southern Kaduna Journalists in Abuja.
He explained that all the Governorship Candidates in the State had once have an opportunity to serve their people in the National Assembly but failed to impact positively in the lives of their people.
” Sen. Uba Sani had through his social cooperate social responsibility, he got NCC to built and fully equiped three Computer Centres; one in the Kaduna State College of Education Gidan Waya, Kaduna State University and Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria even before he became the Senator to represent the Kaduna Central Senatorial District.
” As a Senator, he was able to get a Federal Medical Center, attract a project to a tune of over 4 billion naira to built a brand new faculty of Engineering at the Kaduna State University, upgrade all the Primary Health Centres all in his Constituency while he sponsored 9
mark bills to his credit that have direct bearing to his people and Nigerians.
According to him Sen. Uba Sani has so much to show as a leader who has capacity and resilience. He has disclosed his agenda and there has been debate among all the candidates, when you listen to them you’ll understand Uba stands the best bet as Kaduna Governorship Candidate we are having now.
While commenting on the State of insecurity, he noted that State Governors are helpless because they’re not in control of the security apparatus.
He stated that: ” Insurgency was a global issue and it would be difficult to be curtail when we only have less than 400,000 Police men and just 200,000 soldiers spread across the Country.
” Something drastic must be done as regards increasing the number of our security personnels.
