As the Nigerian Association of Women Journalist (NAWOJ), plans her National Elections slated for 24-26th November, 2023 in Abuja, many aspirants are already in the race, seeking support from all quarters in the positions they are all vying for but the front runner is Ladi Bala who visited Kaduna.
Politics is not just about vying for a position. What is of interest is to what level do the aspirants know the responsibilities attached to these positions they are seeking for.
It is on this premise that NAWOJIANS across the country resolved to ensure that people of integrity and capacities are brought on board to steer the affairs of the Association in the coming years.
Meanwhile, the number one Woman journalist in Nigeria, Ladi Bala is also in the race, seeking the support and votes of other Women journalists in the country.
Ladi’s stand point is performance and achievements within the period of her first term in office.
However, many may ask, what has she done to deserve second term in office? This is a question that is in order.
Before her emergence, NAWOJ operated without an office, but within her first term in office, the Association secured an office courtesy of Ladi Bala.
Also to her credit, NAWOJ is a proud owner of a landed property in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Like never before, as a capacity President, Ladi has attracted and organised many capacity building programmes and workshops across Nigeria for Female Journalists.
Going by the aforementioned achievements, NAWOJIANS across the length and breadth of Nigeria have already resolved that Ladi’s second term in office is assured, considering her capacity, experience, integrity and leadership style.
