2023; Kukah Centre Partners European Union Trains Political Parties On Elections and Technology

The global Kukah foundation is partnering with European Union to train Nigeria’s 18 political parties on elections and use of technology as the country prepared towards the general elections and it’s transition from one civilian administration to another.

The one day program holding at Valencia Hotel ,Wuse Zone 2 today, Thursday 23rd February, 2023 to further discussed on the use of electronic voting system, social media to foster peaceful elections.

The rudiments of the training of political parties cut across the party lines was to inculcate the culture of sane political ideology , practices and deployment at various levels.

The use of technology in the prosecution of Nigeria’s elections is sacrosanct, considering the dynamics as the body was geared towards an acceptable and peaceful elections in the country.

The Kukah foundation as the crest of peaceful democratic practices in Nigeria stressed the need to embrace deployment of technology through electronic voting and conducts of elections as well as the deployment of new media to sustain peace as the bane of good governance.

The program attracted presentation of papers on the topics, discussions and interactive session.

The 18 political parties in Nigeria was represented and made valuable contributions towards our advancement of technology, electronic voting, and the use of social media to foster peaceful elections.
