It was a moment of thanksgiving and reflection in Abuja as the Senior Pastor of Capital Dynamics World Church International, Apostle Dr. Favour Ekoba, marked two decades of marriage and ministry.
The event, held at the church’s headquarters in Kagini Across, a suburb of the FCT, brought together congregants, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate the milestone.
Speaking at the event, Apostle Ekoba emphasized the importance of divine guidance in leadership, particularly as Nigeria approaches another election cycle.
*“Leadership comes from God. The Bible says no one receives anything unless it is given from above. Forcing power against God’s will only leads to chaos,”* he cautioned.
Reflecting on his journey, the cleric described the past 20 years as a period of spiritual growth and divine favor.
*“These years have been a school of the Spirit—filled with lessons, challenges, and victories. Through God’s grace, we have witnessed miracles, healings, and transformed lives,”* he testified.
Apostle Ekoba also shared insights on sustaining a successful marriage, acknowledging that it requires patience and sacrifice.
*“Marriage is not a walk in the park. It demands understanding, perseverance, and a commitment to unity despite differences. That is why, by God’s grace, we are still standing strong after 20 years,”* he said.
Addressing Nigeria’s socio-political climate, the clergyman expressed optimism about the nation’s future.
*“A divine turnaround is coming for Nigeria. God will raise righteous leaders who will steer the country toward greatness. When the righteous rule, the people rejoice,”* he declared.
On the rising cases of marital breakdowns, Apostle Ekoba urged couples to remain steadfast, even in difficult times.
*“Marriage is about managing imperfections. Economic challenges should not break what God has joined together. With love, patience, and mutual respect, any home can thrive.”*
The celebration featured prayers, songs, and testimonies, as attendees joined the Ekobas in honoring 20 years of love, faith, and impactful ministry.
