President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday appointed governing councils of two specialised institutions of learning, his spokesman, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, said in a statement.

The President approved the appointment of Kehinde Akinola as Chairman of the Governing Council of Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron, Akwa Ibom, with Shehu Doguwa, Samuel Isichei and Faisal Halidu as members.

He also approved the appointment of Anthony Manzo as Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria, Kaduna State.

 Ngozi Okuoma, Durungunwa Abdulmalik, Biodun Taiwo and Florence Olorunfemi are  members of the council.

The President expects members of the governing boards of these institutions to serve with integrity and devotion to the enhancement of their structural, academic, and all-around standards. (NAN)
