We Must Confront Issues of Insecurity To Save Nigeria -Wike

Rivers State Governor and presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has said to save Nigeria from collapsing, the issues of insecurity must be addressed.
Wike, who  spoke on Monday night on a live television programme monitored in Port Harcourt, the state capital, said the major problem facing the country was  the capacity to face insecurity.
The PDP presidential hopeful said: “The major problem we have today is the capacity to confront insecurity. If am given the opportunity to be Preside of this country, one thing we must do is that we must confront issues of insecurity.”
The Rivers State Governor stated that in the course of his political aspiration, he has never had issues with his academic qualifications.
Wike said: “”Frankly speaking, I just received my clearance certificate; meaning that I am successful. Tell me who would have been more successful than me?
“What makes me happy is that when I went for screening, I saw Mike Ahamba. I have never had any problem with my certificates.”
The PDP presidential hopeful said he had never achieved anything on the platter of gold, saying that he never knew that he will become governor one day.
He said: “It never came to me that I will become Rivers  Governor one day. To the glory of God, I have been a local Chairman. By the grace of God, it took me to the Supreme Court to become Chairman of Obio/Akpor local government area.
“I passed through a lot of challenges; I was charge for armed robbery, I was charged for kidnapping. It waxt not easy for me to become LGS Chairman. I was prepared for leadership.
“All the charges were geared towards stopping me from participating in elections. But to the glory of God, I survived all. I never contemplated that I will be Rivers State Governor one is day.”
