In a startling turn of events, a town planner in Kaiama, situated in the Kaiama Local Government of Kwara State, has reportedly sold a piece of land belonging to the magistrate court to an unwitting buyer, Mr. Yakubu Abubakar Bio of Shigberiya, a suburb of Kaiama.

The transaction, which amounted to four million, six hundred thousand naira, complete with documents, has ignited a contentious dispute as the court began constructing buildings on the contested land.

Upon discovering this development, Mr. Yakubu Abubakar Bio sought answers from the town planner, Mr. Sodiq Soso Yekini, regarding the sudden construction by the court. Yekini’s response lacked a robust defense, prompting Bio to confide in some residents who revealed that the land indeed belonged to the magistrate court.

Further probing of Yekini by Yakubu led to the shocking revelation that Yekini executed his fraudulent scheme in collaboration with a former judge of the court, who allegedly granted him permission to sell the land.

In light of these grave allegations, Mallam Yakubu Abubakar Bio has initiated a petition to the Department of State Services (DSS) and other security agencies, seeking redress and the recovery of his investment.
