Top Nigeria Professional Football League teams are neck deep in the race to sign up the newest football sensation in the country.
Opeyemi Okeyinka, 18, had emerged the most valuable player at the just concluded Kelechi Ihenacho sponsored Super 8 Pre- Season football tournament held in Owerri, Imo State.
The young creative midfielder who shone brightly during the tourney, has become the latest bride in local football, with several NPFL sides joining Heartland FC of Owerri in the battle to sign the young lad who is managed TopPro Sports management company.
According to foremost football Intermediary and CEO, TopPro Sports company, Ayodele Thomas, the lad has been attracting interests from top local and international football teams. However, his company is bent on ensuring the newest kid on the block begin his professional career on a good note.
” The major priority of my company is giving adequate football education and protection to players under our management. Therefore, we shall ensure Okeyinka gets the best offer in view of his wonderous talents,” Thomas, who is also the Chairman of Football Intermediaries Association of Nigeria said.
