Tobi Philips, the wife of Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, has taken to social media to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Philips expressed gratitude for “365 days of grace” in their marriage.
She also shared pictures of herself with the Ooni while praying for a “lifetime together” with the monarch.
“365 days of grace and a lifetime to go 🥰 Happy 1st anniversary to us my king @ooniadimulaife,” she wrote.
Philips, who is a model, fashion designer, and artiste, got married to the Ooni on October 9, 2022.
Last year, the beauty queen revealed she was told she might never get married.
Philips said the comment prompted her to ask God for a gift that would surprise those who have been “mean to me”.
She is believed to be the third of the six wives of the Ooni of Ife.
The other wives include Ashley Adegoke, Mariam Anako, Elizabeth Akinmuda, Temitope Adesegun, and Ronke Ademiluyi.
Ogunwusi has had three failed marriages in the past.
He was previously married to Adebukola Bombata in 2008 but the marriage crashed.
Ooni’s marriage to Zaynab Wuraola Otiti in 2016 also failed due to irreconcilable differences.
The monarch would later marry Silekunola Naomi in October 2018.
Three years later, Naomi announced their separation.
Their union produced a son named Tadenikawo.
