There is a widely strong circulating rumour that thugs may storm Kujama, the headquarters of Chikun Local Government Area, where the final results of the Chairmanship and Councillorship elections results which took place yesterday are being collated.
Preliminary results shows that the PDP is already ahead, but the losing party is alleged to be causing unnecessary delays by long arguments and rejections of some results.
A sources who confided on our reporter said it was a delay tactics to slow the process into dark hours for imported thugs in huge numbers to storm the venue and cause mayhem and confusion so that the process can be sabotaged.
So far, the police are doing well, but it is alleged that powers from above will come to bear on the police who will move away for the thugs to have their way to cause confusion
But, however, the electorates are determined to protect their votes to ensure fairness and justice.
Our Correspondent advise that there should be strong measures to take care of the allege incoming thugs if eventually arrived, it is feared that there maybe a bloody clash.
So far, the PDP is leading in the Chairmanship results with over 4000 votes after 7 out of 12 wards results have been counted at around 5pm,
