Ọ̀rúnmìlà paved the right path for the Yòrùbá’,
For the Yòrùbá to live as the lords on earth.
A divine belief for the unsettled mind,
To have clarity over persistent doubts of life.
Ọ̀rúnmìlà baba ọ́gbọ́n; the father to all wisdom.
Ọ̀rúnmìlà descended with the right-gospel’,
The holy tenet from the supreme Olódùmarè,
The sanctuary story of Akódá.
The principality government of Àsèdá.
Ọ̀rúnmìlà baba ìmọ̀; the father to all knowledge.
Èjì ogbè, master for clarification to any form of dispute.
Òyẹ̀kú méjì, a noble symbol for humans,
To realize that he is made from ‘life’ and ‘death’.
For life is the birth to ‘inexperienced war’;
Death is the birth to ‘novice-eternity’.
Ọ̀rúnmílá olùmọ̀ràn ọkàn; the source to all imaginations.
For the western sect lied to the Yòrùbá,
That you lack ‘rigid-basis’ for total conviction.
For the modern faith ethically pushed away your heritage,
From the minds of Yòrùbá of today.
Ọ̀rúnmìlà olùmòye; the source for the understanding.
Nowadays! Where are the knowledge and the truth?
Nowhere to be discovered in the world of today.
The supreme ‘knowledge’ and the ‘truth’ can only
Be found in ‘the myth of Ifá olókun àsòròdayọ’:
“He who speaks the truth always;
Truly, the way truth must be spoken”.
