Terrorists Open Fire On Passerby, Kill 6 In Southern Kaduna


The daily killing of locals in the Southern part of Kaduna State has resumed as terrorists open fire on passerby, killing six.

It was gathered that Southern Kaduna has been facing attacks since on Sunday.

The latest attack which led to the killing of six person happened today Thursday.

Terrorists suspected to be Fulani herdsmen who pretended to be repairing a car by the roadside around Kagoro- Kafanchan area of Southern Kaduna, opened fire on a moving vehicle and killed six passerby, residents say.

It was gathered that the incident took place in front of Government Secondary School Kagoro, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Eanza News reports that the scene of the incidence is not far from a military checkpoint.

A resident said the gunmen came on motorcycles, mounted a checkpoint and killed at will.

It was gathered that passengers on transit were the casualties.

“Six people have been confirmed dead. Some security personnel have evacuated the students to another location,” a resident told Elanza News.

“The car was parked as if it had a fault, and they pretended as if they were repairing it only to open fire on us, a survivor said.

“It’s night and you first of all see the military uniforms before those wrong shoes and others. Then it’s too late,” another resident said of the incident while explaining why the passerby could not escape the terrorists Attack.

Kaduna spokesman,  Mohammed Jalige, could not be reach as at the time of filing this incident.
