Support Polio Immunization, COVID-19 Vaccination, JAP Tells Nigerians

A non-governmental organization, the Journalists Initiatives on

Immunization Against Polio (JAP) has appealed to all Nigerians
especially those in Kaduna State to support the campaigns on
immunization exercises against Polio and the COVID-19 vaccination
exercise.

Kaduna State Coordinator of the organisation, Mallam Lawal Dogara made
the call during street performance/Drama in support of vaccination
exercise at Tashan Kade community in Kudan Local Government Area of
the State.

Dogara said constant immunization would make children to be healthier
and grow up stronger and be helpful to the society and the country in
general.

Dogara reminded all communities of the need to abide by the COVID-19
protocol, urging them to always wear their face mask, wash their
hands, keep the environment clean and should always visit
hospital/clinic for medication whenever the need arises.

He said JAP has over the years introduced entertainment innovations
and the enlightenment exercise which assisted immensely in convincing
many parents and children on the benefit of the vaccines and the need
to accept it.

The JAP coordinator therefore appealed to the people to support
government policies and programmes especially those aimed at
eliminating poverty and diseases.

Dogara commended the people of the various Local Government Areas for
their understanding and commitment to ensuring that no case of polio
disease ever surfaces in Kaduna state and in Nigeria.
