The Representative of Jema’a/Sanga at the National Assembly, Hon. Shehu Nicholas Garba (Sarkin Noma) has sent his good wishes to Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of the commencement of the Ramadan fast.
According to Sarkin-noma, the Ramadan Fasting is one of the pillars of Islam which afford Muslim faithfuls the opportunity to commune with God, renew their strength through, meditation, acts of charity, ceaseless prayers and reading of the Holy Quran.
A statement issued by the personal assistant to the honourable member, Mock Samuel Kure, the member called on Muslims to pray for God’s intervention for an end to the deadly Coronavirus that is threatening humanity as well as pray for the peace of the nation.
He lamamented that this year’s Ramadan will be observed in a manner that have never been experienced as a result of the challenges posed by the novel Coronavirus.
Sarkin Noma who urged Muslim faithfuls to adhere to all social distancing protocol and personal hygiene so as to avoid the risk of infection and also help in stopping the spread of the disease, wished them a blessed Holy Month.
