Prosecute Deborah Killers, Nigerian Pastors Urge President FG

Nigerian Pastors under the aegis of United Pastors Initiative for Good Governance (UPIG), has called on the federal government to dig deep, arrest and prosecute killers of Deborah Samuel, a 200 level of Shagari College of Education, Sokoto who was killed over alleged blasphemy of Prophet Muhammed.

In a statement yesterday, signed by its president, Rev James Muya, the men of God condemn in totality the gruesome murder of student and demanded urgent justice.

“We therefore, call on the Sokoto state security architecture and by extension, the federal government to dig deep, arrest and prosecute all that are involved on the unfortunate incident.

“We commiserate with the deceased immediate family, the good people of Taraba state, friends, well wishers as well as Sokoto state where the incident happened.

“We pray almighty God to console and comfort the immediate family, friends and we’ll wishers and may God grant her soul external rest,” it said
