The Amaechi Support Organization (ASO 2023), a political pressure group loyal to the Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, had applauded the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, for his contribution towards the successful conduct of the national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
ASO 2023 national coordinator, Hon. Gowin Solomon Bamola, in a statement made available to newsmen in Port Harcourt yesterday, said Malami played great roles towards resolving the plethora of crisis in APC before the national convention.
Bamola said: “We want to use the opportunity to commend the untiring efforts of one of the All Progressive Congress (APC) big wigs, Abubakar Malami for the great role he has played towards resolving the plethora of crisis in APC before the hosting of the National convention last Saturday at Eagle Square Abuja, that recorded a huge success.
“Honestly, we doff our hats for Abubakar Malami for going extra miles in mending faces among the aggrieved members of the party, hence describing him as a ‘true pillar of democracy and an epitome of success”.
The ASO 2023 coordinator used the opportunity the call on the Minister of Transportation, Amaechi, to contest the 2023 presidential election, saying was not only based on his vast political experience, but his laudable track records of good administration which speak volume beyond the shore of the country.
He insisted that it was not a contestable fact that Nigeria needs the best replacement for President Mohammadu Buhari come next year, saying that no other politician in the country was eminently qualified for the job than the Transportation Minister.
The group’s coordinator said: “I stand to be corrected that Amaechi’s charisma and grit were all that every right thinking Nigerians need at this crucial time the country is clamouring for a better genuine transformation.
“Believe me, it is obvious that the massive poverty, unemployment, insecurity and outrage of power supply which had enveloped this country would be a thing of the past if an experienced, tested and trusted leader in person of Amaechi eventually become the President of Nigeria come 2023.”
Bamola urged Nigerians not to lose hope, as the group has critically examined Amaechi very well to discover that he was the only reliable leader, dependable, courageous builder that can secure this nation from imminent collapse.
He said: “On a serious note, it is our fervent prayer and yearning of the masses that Amaechi will come out to vie for the exalted position as President of Nigeria with a view to change the narratives leadership”.
