Prayer Force Condemns Deborah Yakubu’s Killing In Sokoto, Calls For Investigation

The Prayer Force Network has said that the killing of Deborah Emmanuel Yakubu at the Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto is barbaric, animalistic and dehumanising, calling for the appropriate authorities to investigate and bring perpetrators to book.

The prayer force network said the manner in which late Deborah was inhumanly killed within the premises of the school speaks volume of how intolerant Islam is.

“In Christianity, God says, “I will fight for you, I will destroy those who touch you,” but in Islam, it is the followers that are fighting for God, what an irony?

“If I may ask, how can a human being created by God fight for God? Is it possible? Whoever offends God, He had a special way of dealing with the person.

“Some Muslims are full of ignorance, illiteracy and lack of knowledge of their worship books. Deborah is not the first person to be murdered in cold blood due to religious intolerance, the history is long as well as the list and in the current administration of our weak, incapacitated and religiously bigot president Muhammadu Buhari, it is taking a higher dimension, why because he is a bigot who hates Christians with a passion,” the group said in a statement issued by Ambassador John Pofi.

According to the statement, “I was weeping seeing a young man supposedly a student of the college, displaying a match box and proudly saying he was the one that burnt her. Life is now the cheapest thing in Nigeria. Why are we like this? Haba!

“I may be wrong, but let me preempt what will happen eventually. The young man in the video and those arrested in connection with the murder will be set free and the reason is because they are Muslims and from the Caliphate, fighting on behalf of Muhammad.

“When countries of the world are trying to. “buy,” plots in the moon and other planets, Nigerian Muslims are thinking of who to kill in the name of religion.

“This is sad, unacceptable, unpleasant and barbaric which should be condemned by all sane people.

“I salute the revered Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Hassan Kukah who said, ” the only obligation that is owed her immediate family, fellow students and the school authority is the assurance that those who are guilty of this inhuman act, no matter their motivation, are punished according to the law of the land.”

“I know a demonic group like the Muslim Rights Concern, MURIC and its likes like a daft I saw in a video called Imam from Sokoto will celebrate this murder as feat,” Pofi said.

“The daft who prides himself as Imam in that video said, the people of Kano state can tolerate people who commit blasphemy because they are more concerned about their businesses but they in Sokoto, they kill whoever commits blasphemy.

“If this man were a Christian priest, he would have been behind bars and killed but with “Buhariya” all Muslims are saints and above the law, the security agencies have confirmed this time without number. It is sad.

“Did your God actually say you should fight and kill for him? What if you are being misled?

“There has never been a case of religious intolerance like the one caused by the current APC administration in the history of Nigeria.

“We need immediate justice for Deborah now and several others who have died in the same barbaric manner. Let me refresh our memory with just few cases out of many

“Mrs. Bridget Agbahimes killed on the 2nd of June 2016 in downtown Kano all the suspects were set free in July of the same year.

“Evangelist Eunice Elisha was killed on Saturday the 9th of July 2016 in the suburb of Abuja all under the watch of this APC Government, Haba!!!

“This is the time for the Christian Association of Nigeria to stamp its feet on the ground until justice is served according to the laws of the land. May God cleanse our land of barbarians who are clothed in human flesh,” John Pofi added.
