The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Gambo Isah made the disclosure at a press briefing in Katsina.
SP Isah said in the latest offensive, security operatives succeeded in arresting several terrorists who have been on the wanted list of the police.
He named items recovered from the camps that were raided to include one Ak47 rifle with seven ammunitions, 81 cows, 63 sheep and one donkey.
The Police spokesman said the suspects have confessed to having committed crimes such as banditry, kidnapping and cattle rustling, and insisted that the police would nevertheless carry out further investigations as well as charge the culprits to court.
He assured the public that the command was resolute in its ongoing fight against armed banditry, kidnapping, armed robbery and other forms of criminality in the state.
