Police Arrest Kidnappers That Killed Catholic Seminarian

The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) have arrested the kidnappers that abducted and killed a Catholic Seminarian in Kaduna state.

Elanza News reports that it is a law in Kaduna state that anyone convicted of kidnaping will be given a death penalty.

Catholic Broadcast Commission, Nigeria reported in their Facebook page that the Police also confirmed to the school authority of the arrest of the culprits that killed their seminarian, Micheal Nnadi.

“They were taken round the seminary to demonstrate how they entered and went out of the school during their operation,” Director of Social Communication, Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Fr Chris Omotosho, was quoted as saying.

“Dear Bros & Srs in Christ, this is to inform us that the kidnappers & killers of our seminarian MICHAEL NNADI have been apprehended by the Nigerian Police Force.

“The seminary authority confirmed that the police came in with one of the criminals today, for identification of their entry and exit route to & fro the seminary premises. May the soul of Michael Nnadi and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen!,” Catholic Broadcast Commission, Nigeria posted on their Facebook page.

Elanza News reports that the killers of the seminarian were said to have been the same gang who abducted and killed the wife of a Kaduna based medical practitioner, Dr Ataga.
