Once again, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, Dr Kingsley Ononogbu has triumphed over an attempt to remove him from office.
This followed the striking out on Tuesday of a suit filled by Moses Uche Mark against the party and one other seeking the desolution of the state executive committee of the party.
In the suit, UIT NO:HUM/49/2022, filed on April 12, 2022, the plaintiff had also prayed the court to order for appointment of a caretaker committee for the opposition party.
The presiding judge and the state chief judge (CJ), Justice Onuoha Ogwe, sitting in the state capital, Umuahia dismissed both applications for lack/of presucution.
It would be recalled that Ononogbu emerged in the office early this year at a special congress in Umuahia and was inaugurated in Abuja along with others from the 35 states.
