NYLF Presents Endorsement Letter To Bauchi Gov, Insists He Must Vie For Presidency

A political group, Northern Youth Leaders Forum has insisted that Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed must vie for the presidency comes 2023.

A statement by Lawal Mu’azu Bauchi, Special Assistant to the Governor on new media said the group made the declaration on Wednesday when it presented an endorsement letter to Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed which it said was both an endorsement and a show of solidarity.
The National Chairman of the Forum, Comrade Elliot Afiyo during a courtesy visit to the governor at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Bauchi said the forum with over four million members will mobilize Nigerians for the victory of the governor in 2023.
He said already the forum has embarked on advocacy visits to interact with stakeholders for the presidential race of the Bauchi Governor in 2023 presidential election.
“Your Excellency, we are here in Bauchi to present you our endorsement letter for you to contest presidential position come 2032, we have already agreed to work for your victory in this movement.”
“Our forum took interest when you defeated the former Governor of Bauchi state during 2019 general election.”
The National Chairman of the forum at the occasion conferred the governor the title of Tambarin Matasan Arewa in recognition of his contribution to youth development.
“We want to assure your Excellency that no amount of intimidation, frustrations, threats or inducements will make us rescind our resolve and decision.”
Governor Bala Mohammed who expressed gratitude to the forum for finding him worthy of the endorsement for the presidential race.
The governor said the forum with 42 affiliated groups to endorsed him for the presidential race is an honour to him and the people of Bauchi state.
