The Industrial action called by Nigerian Labor Congress has paralyzed public and commercial activities in Dutse Capital of Jigawa state.
it was observed that, Schools, Hospitals state Secretariat and other public offices were shutdown by the Labor in compliance to it’s nationwide strike which begins yesterday Tuesday.
However Banks and other commercial institutions were closed, as NLC went round the state for enforcing compliance to it’s directives.
In his comments, the chairman Labor Congress Jigawa state chapter Comrade Sanusi Alhassan commended his members for maximum compliance to the nationwide strike.
He said, the industrial action was not aimed at creating any difficulties to Nigerians or injured national economy but it is a step to force the country leaders to take an appropriate measures to address the current economic hardship ensued from fuel subsidy removal.
