Member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Shehu Nicholas Garba has called on his constituents to be pragmatic amidst the myriad of challenges that has grappled parts of the Country.
The Federal Lawmaker gave the advised in a press statement he personally signed and issued to LEADERSHIP yesterday in Kafanchan.
He noted that while the level of inequities,deprivation, poverty and general underdevelopment may seem overwhelming, the people have to keep faith and hope for a more just and inclusive union as they, right now, have no other Country to call their own.
“The situation in the Land calls for pragmatism and realism on the part of our Constituents in the search and pursuit of means of livelihood as the challenges are unlikely going to recede,” Garba said.
He further asked his constituents to reflect on the significance of this Anniversary , one thing remains very clear: “Our Destiny, as a People and as a Country , remains in our hands.
” Our Leaders at the Federal , State and Local levels can strive to build a more equitable and inclusive Union that spurs every Citizen to put in his/her best or continue on the current path of inequity with its attendant negative impact on National progress and development.” He added.
