Nasarawa’s Former Deputy Gov Decamps To APC

A former deputy governor of Nasarawa State, Chief Dameshi Barau Luka, has left PDP to rejoin the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Dameshi who left APC in 2014 to the embattled People’s Democratic Party (PDP) disclosed this in a letter dated September 13, 2021.

The letter of exit from PPD and entrance written to the All Progressives Congress (APC) seeking to enrol as bonafide member, was addressed to the chairman of the party in his electoral ward, Ningo/Boher, of Akwanga Local Government Area of the state.

When Elanza News sought to know from him via SMS, he said “Yes and is a personal decision”

Dameshi Luka, served as deputy governor during the first term of the then governor, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, from 2011 to 2015.
