The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has secured two 33 KVA transformers for Toto Local Government Area of the state to boost power supply and enhance the socio- economic activities of the people.

To this end, the speaker has appreciated the State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule for the gesture while assuring him of his peoples resolve to support his administration beyond 2023.

Balarabe Abdullahi said that the installation of the transformers which is being handled by Nasarawa Electricity Power Agency (NaEPA) would also improve on the standard of living of the people, boost revenue and enhance development in the area.

According to him, one of the transformers is cited in Toto, the Headquarters of Toto Local Government Area while the other transformer will be cited in Gadabuke, the Headquarters of Gadabuke Development Area of the state.

The speaker added that the importance of electricity to human and societal development could not be overemphasized, hence the need of his determination to lobby for the transformers from the state government.

” The governor in his magnanimity has graciously approved the installation of the transformers for me in any part of my local government, that I deemed it necessary.

“You know Toto Local Government is one of the larger local governments in the state with two constituencies, Umaisha/ Ugya which is my own constituency and Toto/ Gadabuke and I deemed it necessary and important as a very significant project and life touching, I should extend it and start from the second constituency because my own immediate constituency has benefited a lot in my interventions.

” Let the people of Toto and Gadabuke feel my impact on this aspect because Toto Local Government is my local government as the project will gradually be expanded and other areas will soon get their turn.

” I most sincerity thank His Excellency, Engr. A A Sule for this gesture, “the Speaker said.
