Nasarawa Governor Donates N10m For Cojoined Twins Separation

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has donation N10 million to facilitate the separation of  conjoined twin in the state, Hassana and Hussaina.

Elanza News reports that the family of the twins has been making appeal for their separation for some weeks now.

But governor  Sule, who was in Keffi for official function, stopover at the Federal Medical Center in Keffi after he was briefed about the twins.

The Governor was received at the medical center by the Head of Clinical Services and other management staff, who made a slide presentation about a major surgery which they were about to perform to separate the conjoined twins.

It will be recalled that the conjoined twins, Hassana and Hussaina were born at a private hospital in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa state.

Given the severity of their condition, the conjoined twins were referred to the Federal Medical Center Keffi for better care and superior management of the procedure of separation.

The situation assembled a team of 35 Medical experts from FMC Keffi, where it was confirmed that the surgery which will cost N25 Million naira, scheduled to be performed next week.

The Governor immediately went into his car and presented a personal donation of N10 Million naira to support the separation of the conjoined twins at the center.
