As Muslims in Nasarawa state begins Ramadan fast the Caretaker leadership of All progressives Congress APC, Nasarawa state has urged them to pray for peace.
The party equally enjoined Muslims to intensify prayers in the holy month for the country to overcome it’s emerging challenges and also for sustainable peace, unity and development.
On his part, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, representing Nasarawa South at National Assembly, has urged Muslims to extend love to others and practice the act of selfless service to humanity during and after Ramada ton.
The senator in a statement issued to newsmen on Wednesday ,reminded muslims of the need to be selfless.
APC in statement signed by the state caretaker chairman, Dr John D W Mamman, said no doubt Ramadan is a sacred month characterised with heightened devotion and worship we are therefore encouraging Muslims to strictly follows the true teachings of Islam in order to maximize the multiple benefits.
“As a party we want to assure you and all other Nigerians of our unwavering commitment towards providing the desire leadership and development in Nasarawa state and the country atlarge as demonstrated by president Muhammadu Buhari and Engineer Abdullahi A Sule”
“Without mincing words we are proud to said that the ApC goverment at all levels have been performing according to the yearnings and the aspirations of all particularly in the Areas of infrastructure, Agriculture, health, Education, social welfare , Economic growth and development” he said.
