Lockdown: Armed Forces Establish 48 Disaster Response Units

As  part of efforts to  enforce the  Presidential directive to  total lockdown in Abuja, Lagos and Ogun State, the Nigerian Armed Forces has established 48 Disaster Response Units for Non Kinetic  Operations.

The Coordinator,  Defence  Operation Media Centre,  Major General John Enenche revealed this to Newsmen in Abuja.
He said the Nigerian Armed Forces are interfacing with the ministries,  departments and agencies to Managing the  Covid-19.
“The Nigerian Armed Forces  has created Seventeen Isolation Centres across the Six geo-political Zones in the Country. South West ,  68 Army Reference Hospital Lagos,  2nd Division  Military Hospital,  Ibadan.
“South South,  Military Hospital Portharcourt.  Nigerian Navy Hospital Calabar.
“South East,  82 Division Hospital Enugu. 582 Brigade Owerri.
“North Central, 22 Brigade Military Hospital Illorin, 3 divisions Military Hospital Jos.
North West, 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital Kaduna, ” Enenche said.
