Koko’s Modest Corporate Social Responsibility CSR Template In Nigeria

For a good corporate governance, Corporate Social Responsibility CSR template is always modest way of giving back to the society, particularly with the prevailing economic downturn, huge financial commitment on government in the era of post COVID and recurring economic downturn.

The new twist in Nigerian Ports Authority NPA under the leadership of Mohammed Bello-Koko was a cynosure of good corporate governance geared towards ameliorating and deploying social services to our educational, health among many other demanding and vulnerable areas in the country.

With the pioneer roles effected by the new NPA leadership, it will resolve and also serve as a guide to other multi nationals, public and private entities towards capturing the welfare of the society in the course of carrying out statutory functions across Nigeria.

The initiative powered by the authorities of NPA, no doubt will go a long way in ameliorating pressing and needed incentives towards the welfare of the society and government establishments desiring such attention.

The recent succour and donation among many others carried out by the management was the right step in the right direction, against the backdrop of series of demands from many educational institutions.

Aside, observing the corporate social responsibility CSR, it is also a veritable tool to giving back to the society, especially from products of the various institutions who are well to do in the society, and occupied highly placed position in the country.

With singular donation by the Nigerian Ports Authority NPA, of 250 double decker beds, 500 mattresses to GMMC Yola, in Adamawa State, it will ameliorate the teething problems of accomodation and accessories, hence it will also ensured conducive environment for teaching and learning.

The complimentary roles of the new gesture template adopted by Mohammed Bello-Koko’s NPA will go a long way into assisting government both at the local , state and federal level as government alone cannot do it alone, because of demanding variables.

With judicious deployment of items donated by the Nigerian Ports Authority, no doubt it will resolve both immediate and long term demands of educational institutions in Nigeria.

It will also play a dual role of settling accomodation problems, encouraged more enrolments into the college,as well as maintained the existing standards of education in the country.

For Mohammed Bello-Koko’s magnanimity and passion for humanitarian services will go along way into encouraging well to do and well meaning individuals and corporate bodies in Nigeria, towards giving out more supports and intervention to our educational and other institutions inline with the spirit of Corporate Social Responsibility CSR.

The revival of corporate governance in NPA known for overtime, less than one year at the saddle of leadership, will be a sign of more development to other sectors demanding more succor in the current dispensation.
