Kebbi LG Election: We are Ready to Provide Adequate Security-CP

The Kebbi State commissioner of police, Musa Baba, disclosed that the command has made adequate preparation to provide maximum security to ensure hitch free local government election slated to hold tomorrow Saturday across the state.

Speaking with journalists through the command’s police public relation officer (PPRO), SP Nafiu Abubakar, in Brinin-kebbi, maintained that it had deployed undisclosed number of personnel to man all the two thousand three hundred and ninety eight (2398) pulling units.

He added that special units has been deployed to bordering communities to ensure a hitch free exercise.

“I want to let you know that the command under the leadership of CP Musa Baba, has deployed undisclosed number of our personnel to man all the two thousand three hundred and ninety eight (2398) pulling units to ensure that tomorrow’s LG election in the state is conducted peacefully.

“Remember that Kebbi state is sharing border with the Republic of Niger, Beinn, Sokoto and Niger states respectively. These borders has been identified and personnel are fully on ground. You know we cannot mention the number because of the security reasons”, he said.

The CP also avarred that there is synergy between the police and other sister agencies. “I can tell you we going to work hand in hand with other security agencies”, he added.
