Katsina Comissioner Bags Pan African Award

The Commissioner for Lands and Survey Katsina state, Hon. Usman Nadada, was decorated with Pan-African Centre for Transparency and People’s Initiative, tagged, “Award of Humanitarian and Service Delivery”.

The award was received on his behalf of the commissioner by the permanent secretary with other directors of the ministry.

The country coordinator of the organization Mr. Julius Peter, said the award was to spur the commissioner to do more in the area of humanitarian service delivery.

He maintained that Hon. Nadada have written his name in gold in the area of supporting and providing succour for these less privileged and the vulnerable in the society.

“We have monitored your activities very closely especially in the area of humanitarian service to the less privileged and the vulnerable in the society.

“Based on your antecedents that we the Pan-African have come to present this honour to you.

“This honour bestowed on you today is to encourage you to do more and continue with your good works”, he said.

In her response on behalf of the commissioner, the permanent secretary of the ministry, Hajiya Halima Lawal Usman, thanked the delegation for considering the commissioner for the prestigious award.

“I thank all of you for coming and on behalf of the commissioner I welcome you to Katsina and to the ministry of lands and survey”, she said.
