Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje on Saturday announced the relaxation of the Presidential Lockdown order imposed on the state.

Ganduje said two free days have been set aside for purchases during the lockdown period.

The governor said Mondays and Thursday would be lockdown free days from 10 am to 4 pm so as to ease challenges during the month of Ramadan.

Governor Ganduje added that only Yankaba Market where perishable items are sold, and Yan Lemo Market would be allowed to operate on Mondays and Thursdays 10 am to 4 pm. to curtail the spread of COVID-19 disease.
