“A stadium is also an avenue for government to generate revenue if only it will put proper measures to facilitate its running.” Mr Getso said.

Also, a lecturer with Federal College of Education (FCE) Kano, Isyaku Labaran Fagge said both stadiums and markets provide valuable services to the society.

“Why can’t displaced traders find somewhere else to do their business?

“There are market spaces everywhere.” He said.

Mr Fagge however said there is nothing experts can do other than advice the government.

Neither the Kano state governor, nor the sports commissioner have reacted to the calls.

  1. This is some nice material. It took me a while to finally find this site but it was worth the time. I noticed this content was hidden in google and not the number one spot. This webpage has a ton of high-quality stuff and it doesnt deserve to be burried in the search engines like that. By the way I am going to add this web page to my list of favorites.
