The beneficiaries received comprehensive healthcare services, including free medical consultation, blood pressure and sugar level checks, hepatitis B & C tests, dental and eye care services, BMI assessments, malaria tests, free medication, and general counseling.

Represented by Pastor Gideon Mutum, the Senator expressed his commitment to working with fellow lawmakers to establish a Federal Medical Centre in the zone. He also pledged to organize a more extensive medical outreach in the future to cover the entire constituency.

“I urge the people to prioritize their health by regularly undergoing check-ups to prevent unforeseen circumstances that could lead to untimely death due to negligence,” the Senator emphasized. “I envision a future where the people of Kaduna South Senatorial District won’t have to travel to other cities in search of medical attention.”

Dr. Gad Ezekiel, the Coordinator of Health Professionals for SMK, explained that patients received thorough examinations and, if diagnosed positive, were provided with free medication and counseling on managing their illness.

Mr. Raphael Christopher and Miss Janet Simon, speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to the Senator for reducing their medical expenses. They called on other representatives to follow suit and provide more opportunities for people to access free healthcare.
