Mr John Isaac has emerged the National Youth Coordinator of the Southern Kaduna People’s Union (SOKAPU) in a massive but peaceful election held in Kafanchan.

Isaac polled a total of 258 votes to defeat his closed opponents, Mr Solomon  Simon, 91 votes, and Bazimbe Abel 117 votes. 

The electoral committee chairman, Mr. Mock Kure who counted the results, declared Mr John Isaac as the winner of the election held Saturday, 18th January 2020 at New Choice Hall Kafanchan, Kaduna State.

Kure said the process of the election was free, fair and credible.

According to him, all the contestants are winners and advise them to put their heads together to advance the unity and progress of Southern Kaduna.

Former SOKAPU national students coordinator, Mr Bagudu  Joseph, who also monitored the election, described the process and the conduct of the election as the most credible in recent times.
