Ahead of the 8th May All Progressives Congress (APC), Primaries in Kaduna State, Kagoma Ward Excos have reaffirmed and adopted the earlier resolution of the Gwong Zone APC stakeholders to support Bar. Ezekiel Dyagas, as their sole candidate for the Jema’a local government Chairmanship position.
The Ward Chairman, Mr. Yohanna Dangana said the endorsement of Bar. Dyagas after his emergenced as winner of the Pre-Primary election held at LEA Primary School Fori was for the interest of Gwong land.
Dangana lamented that it was unfortunate that the two aspirants who congratulated Dyagas and promised to work together for the success of the party later rejected the outcome and vehemently refused to adhere to the earlier consensus endorsed and adopted by the Gwong Zone APC stakeholders.
Its becomes imperative for us as a party officials from Kagoma Ward to state clearly and reaffirmed the positon of Gwong APC stakeholders and Gwong Youth Traditional council to give their unflinching support for Bar. Ezekiel Dyagas as their preferred candidate ahead of the party Primaries.
” This is not the first time you started vying for this position, we’re reaffirming our support for you. We urged you to remember us by the time you emerge as winner.
Mr. Yakubu Nbut, a 98 year old said the decision of the majority cannot be thwarted for the selfish interest of the few. Dyagas have our blessings already and we’re going to support him to the last.
Assistant APC Youth Leader, Kagoma Ward, Goni John disclosed that the earlier arrangement to have a consensus candidate was to form a formidable force that can restle power.
” We believe that since Dyagas emerged winner at the Pre-Primary we have seen alots of prospects and his loyalty to the party over the years has been consistent and unquestioned.
” It is truism that in Nigeria’s political ring it is rare to find a political figure that will stay loyal to the cause of his party even at the most challenging period.
Some of the APC members lamented that it is evident that the duo had earlier agreed for the Pri-Primaries thinking Dyagas would lost out.
Dyagas remained true to the APC and conducted himself in manner that put the Party at advantage.
