JAMB Candidates Lament Poor Facilities, Computer Failure

Candidates sitting for the 2022 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in Takum center of Taraba state have lamented poor facilities and computer failure in the process.

Some of the JAMB candidates who wrote their papers on Friday 5th May, 2022, told Elanza News that the computers used were old and malfunctioning.

According to one Miss Ruth Enoch, one of the JAMB candidate at the center,  said “We went to the hall prepared for our examination, we were seated and arranged accordingly, when the exam began, I discovered my computer mouse was pointing in the wrong direction even when I tried to give it a direction”.

“Five minutes into the exam I heard a girl crying, her system went off, they had to reboot it, when they rebooted she found out that the system had been submitted. Same to many inside the hall”.

I was thinking I’m lucky to have the working computer, but suddenly, it started blinking, displaying a system error. I started crying because I don’t want to come back and write JAMB again” she said.

She called for urgent attention to avoid massive failure in the center.
