ITPN Admission Into ACCI To Benefit Private Sector Tourism Businesses, Professionals

The Institute for Tourism Professionals of Nigerian (ITPN) has been inducted into the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

National President of ITPN, Chief Abiodun Odusanwo, said the institute’s admission into the ACCI membership will aid the representation of the private sector tourism businesses and professionals in Nigeria Commerce and industry, and in the national economic policymaking process.

ACCI was established in 1986 to serve as the voice of the organized private sector to express its opinion for the business community, promote economic and industrial development in the FCT. It is believed that ITPN’s formal membership with the chamber will not only enhance professional ethics and efficiency of travel, tourism and hospitality operators within ACCI, but deploy the chamber’s network to voice the needs of the sector and influence government policies for the creation of a conducive tourism environment and development.

“ACCI membership will afford the institute the opportunity of being on a wider platform to air its views and opinion on behalf of the travel, tourism, hospitality and its related trades in the circle of committee of the organized private sector of both the FCT and the country at large,” reiterated Odusanwo.
