Id-el-Fitr : Rep Member urges Muslim Ummah To Pray For Nigeria

As Muslims across the world celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir,the Member representing Kachia Kagarko Federal Constituency at the National Assembly Hon Gabriel Sale Haar urged Muslims in Nigeria to pray for the unity of Nigeria.

In a statement signed by the Federal lawmaker and made available to LEADERSHIP yesterday, said it is only through prayers that the country can overcome the current Security problems.

He tasked all Muslims and indeed all Nigerians to be security conscious during and after the festivities and not to engage in any act that will lead to breach of public peace and order.

According to him a time like this, Nigerians should come together and celebrate with one another as well as pray for their leaders to lead them well for the continuous survival of the country.

He explained that Sallah is a period of merrymaking, but beyond that, it is also a period for all Nigerians to take time and pray for the country,” Haar said.

“I also urge them to emulate all that Allah stood for: his love for humanity, his peace-making nature, his magnanimity, his accommodating mind and everything that he was known for.

Adding,” We use the opportunity of this Holy month to pray for Nigeria to prevail over its adversaries while we also pray for our LEADER, President Mohammadu Buhari and Mal. Nasir el-Rufai for long life, good health and grace of God to fulfill his aspirations and dreams for a new Nigeria.” He added.
