Hope Builders, a Non-governmental Organization on Thursday trained no fewer than 20 youths on entrepreneurial education, self-discovery and career advancement.
Speaking at the event at BBS Diamond Suite in Kaduna, Rev. Mathias Yashim, Chief Executive Officer of the NGO, said that the event tagged; “Free Tale Forum” was part of its effort in inculcating the Youths the ability to discover themselves and advance better in their chosen career.
According to him the NGO is laying a platform for people to discover themselves and live a good life by building themselves.
He said the event was focused on self-discovery as a spur to the general effective output of young people in the society.
He mentioned that the pressure for young people to succeed in workplaces, businesses as well as the aspiration to become entrepreneurs required a self motivation.
“One of the things we discussed was that in a journey of life you have to motivate yourself and we’re also focusing on self care and personal growth.
” We believed that Government cannot do everything, your Uncles, Brothers may not be able to give you what you want but you need to strive hard to succeed and for you to succeed you need the right education, mental State of mind and spiritual backups to make you stand firm,” The Clergy said.
He explained ‘ Hope Builders teaches young Enterpreneurs on how to relate with difficult people in the process of transacting their businesses.
Adding,” The forum also avail young people the opportunity to open up to their difficulties they’re facing for discussion and possible solutions.
One of the entrepreneurs at the forum, Mr. Tim Maiyaki explained that as a business oriented person you have to develop a large heart on how to deal with difficult customers which requires Patience, resilience and focus.
