Gov Abdullahi Sule, of Nasarawa State, said he will dropped the current council chairmen and Constitute Transition Management Committee (TMC), for all the 13 local councils in the state at the expiration of their tenure on the 28 of this month.
The governor disclosed this when he received the state APC’s caretaker working committee members at government house Lafia, on Monday.
Gov Sule, who expressed dissatisfaction with the failure of council chairmen in the state to pay workers salaries, described it as satanic and a misnomer for workers to be denied wages for their services.
He stressed that transitional management Committee shall be constituted upon the expiration of the tenure of the current Council Bosses.
He however appealed to the party and it’s teaming supporters to embrace the decision of government as it reflects on the overall best interest of the citizenry.
Sule, said he will soon embark on feedback tour of the local Government Area councils to feel the pulse of the people directly.
Governor Sule who expressed appreciation to the party for their continued prayers, attributed the successes recorded by his Administration to the total commitment, cooperation and support of the party.
Earlier, the state caretaker Chairman of APC, Dr John Mamman lauded the Governor for his peace building initiative and security approaches which he said, has gained Nationwide recognition.
He maintained that the governor’s leadership style and the very modest efforts in promoting inclusiveness, maintaining good working relationship with the party has attracted the endorsement of His Excellency for continuity.
