A Non Governmental Organization, “Global Peace Foundation” says it will commence peace building activities in Atyap chiefdom in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna state by January next year.
The Southern Kaduna Coordinator of the Foundation, Mr Timothy Machu disclosed this during a visit to the Agwatyap, Mr Dominic Gambo Yahaya in his palace in Zangon Kataf to intimate him of the Foundation’s intention.

Timothy Machu told them to always endeavor to nip at the bud, every potential crisis to minimize the extent of loss of lives and destruction of property if allowed to escalate.
In his response, the Agwatyap, Sir Dominic Gambo Yahaya, appreciated the Foundation for the concern it has in restoring peace to the Atyap chiefdom.
The Royal father said the traditional council had initiated similar moves to ensure that the crisis ridden community comes out of the ugly trend and experiences peace and development again.
