The number of coronavirus cases recorded worldwide has topped 25 million.

United States has the highest tally with nearly six million cases.

In Brazil, number of cases are almost 3.9 million, while India has recorded more than 3.5 million.

Johns Hopkins University provided the update on Sunday night.

The institution put global deaths at more than 845,000.

America has the highest number of casualties.

The country’s death toll has exceeded 183,000.

Brazil has recorded more than 120,000 deaths. In Mexico, 64,000 have died.

The JHU figures tally with those of renowned real-time statistics website, Worldometer.

Researches and development of vaccines are going on in many countries.
