Get Involved In politics, Attend Cross River’s Summit, Rex David Tells South-South Youths

A National Youth Leader aspirant of the All Progressives Congress APC, Mr. Rex David Mgbang has enjoined South-South youths get involved in politics and attend the Cross River State youth summit, adding that “I strongly believe that unless young people change their concentration on complaining about the ills in the society and get involved in governance we can really not be able to make any changes.”

The APC National Youths Leader aspirant in a statement said, “No society can grow beyond the capacity of her youthful population. From China to Malaysia and recently Ghana, it’s clear that only by deliberate and intentional planning that a society can truly develop. And that planning must revolve around the youths. Young people remain the pivot of any society and I’m always proud to recall the achievements of our youths in every other area we have concentrated on except for politics. From Marketing Business, real estate, ICT, Entertainment etc. Nigerian youths have taken the lead.”

He recalled that recently while on AIT Kakaaki TV Programme, he called out Folarin Falana aka Falz-da-bad-guy to come join the APC.

“I’m glad to know that he has been asking all his fans on social media to go get their PVC. That’s the way to go. We must, as individuals, get involved in politics. That’s why I would like to encourage all my supporters and those who believe in my advocacy for youth greater participation in politics to attend the Youth Summit holding in Calabar on Saturday 19th February 2022” Rex declared..

Continuing he said, “Yes it’s true that I have long been advocating for youth involvement in politics. This is one of the major reasons why over the years I continue to get involved in the mudding waters of politics. I strongly believe that unless young people change their concentration on complaining about the ills in the society and get involved in governance we can really not be able to make any changes. Running for the position of APC National Youth Leader is something I’m glad to pursue. It has been my passion and I have great plans for Nigeria. youths both in empowerment and job creation. However until you turn your vision into a mission it will remain a dream.

“Again, I also believe my continued advocacy in recognizing Gov. Ben Ayade’s achievements in areas of Youth development might have given the organizers an edge in choosing Cross River State as the destination to host the entire Youths of the South-South. The APC lobby group has performed remarkably in advocating for more opportunities for young people and I must congratulate our leader, Ismaeel Ahmed for his continued support.

“Let’s continue to support young innovations, encourage ourselves to pursue our dreams and back them up by being part of the policy making that ultimately affects our everyday lives.”
