The member Representing Michika/Madagali Federal Constituency of Adamawa State in the National Assembly, Hon Zakariya Dauda Nyampa, has said that governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is the best thing that has ever happened to the state.
According to Nyampa, having Fintiri as the governor of Adamawa State has brought alot of federal presence to so many communities with their people now competing favourably on federal government jobs.
Nyampa stated this when he received a team of newly recruited soldiers who visited his Abuja residence to thank him for the role he played in their lives.
Elanza News reports that the young soldiers were made up of people from different tribes and religion within Michika / Madagali federal Constituency.
The soldiers say they were in Abuja to thank Rep Nyampa for ensuring that their dreams of serving the nation comes through before they proceed to Adamawa state to see their family members.
While receiving the soldiers, Nyampa urged them to be good ambassadors of his constituency, Adamawa, the service and Nigeria as a whole.
According to Nyampa, the governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri is a detribalised Nigerian who accommodate everyone irrespective of tribe, religion or region, urging the young soldiers to emulate such gesture and do their job with high professionalism and discipline.
“Our governor, His Excellency, Ahmadu Fintiri is the best thing that has ever happened to our dear state. He does not discriminate in whatever he does. His good gesture has instill good attitude in us.
“As representatives of the people, we must not discriminate in all we do that is why we ensure that all of you here serving our country are from different religion and tribes within my Constituency. By so doing, we are setting a good record for others to follow.
“Just like our governor, Fintiri, i am urging all of you not to discriminate while in the service. You must also ensure that you maintain professionalism and discipline as soldiers,” Nyampa added.
The Reps member called on the people of Adamawa State especially those from his Constituency to continue with the support they have been giving the present government insisting that the governor will not fail them.
