The Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, Federal Housing Authority FHA, Rt Hon Oyetunde Ojo said the Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank FHAMB will commence full commercial transactions by December.
He made this disclosure on Tuesday during the commissioning of the newly built corporate headquarters of the Bank built within 13 Months .
While commending the Managing Director of the Mortgage Bank, Dr Hayatudeen Atiku, he revealed that those that ganged up against the MD to be push out when he assumed duty, would have done a disservice to Nigeria and the organization, saying he has embraced the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu without reservation.
“When I assumed duty , some group of people came to me and advice me to make sure I do away with the Managing Director, Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank, FHAMB, Dr Hayatudeen Atiku, a decision I turned down”
“Within two years, we have erected two gigantic structures on the same street , as the tallest structure in gwarimpa estate due for commissioning soon is located on the same street built by Federal Housing Authority.”
“With Hayatudeen Atiku, the Managing Director, we have conserved billions of naira public funds for the government and Federal Housing Authority FHA”
He used the opportunity to warn detractors to allow government business to thrive , stating that he revealed this basically to the public, if not, he would have lost the wealth of experience in Dr Hayatudeen Atiku.
He commended the entire staff of ,Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank FHAMB, stating that their welfare will be highly prioritize now and always.
“In December when your promotion request came to me , I make sure you were all promoted to redouble your productivity.”
“I have approved so many requests from your end particularly logistics among many other welfare packages to ensure seamless execution of official engagements ”
“I’m the happiest person today with the commisioning, when I visited the former Head office at Wuse , during my maiden movement, I told the Managing Director that we have to move from hear , within the shortest possible time, a decision he implemented within thirteen months .”
The Managing Director who revealed that commissioning of projects in Federal Housing Authority FHA has become a routine issue, cos of the determination of the new management to tackle all issues head long.
“When I assumed duty sixteen months ago, I warned against project abandonment, saying that any projects has multiplier effects on the citizens and the nation, therefore no project will be abandoned in FHA.
Highlights of the occasion included the commisioning of the edifice for use by the management and staff of Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank FHAMB.
