FCT To Introduce Smart Schools – Dr Hassan Sule

As part of it’s efforts to ensure quality education- in FCT, Nigerians and expatriates, the Universal Basic Education Board UBEB is to establish smart schools across the territory in 2022.

The Director of Education and Ag Chairman, Universal Basic Education Board, Dr Hassan Sule dropped this message in an interview with newsman in his office.

He said the schools when established will attract expatriates, and diplomats children into the model and high technological based institutions that will compete favourably with it’s foreign counterparts.

Dr Sule maintained that the schools will be equiped with highly qualified and first class personel along with modern equipment to ensure quality teaching and learning.

He commended the Minister of State, Education, Dr Ramatu Tijanni Aliyu for supporting educational developement in the FCT, through her laudable initiatives and programs, that had improved both basic and post basic education at the seat of Nigerian government.

Dr Hassan Sule lauded the Minister for her prompt payment of salaries and arears of salaries and allowances up to date,as well as the minimum wage,saying FCT is the only schools that had paid up-to-date minimum wage of teachers among other allowances.

He also applauded the Minister for securing the schools in the FCT, with all round fencing of schools to address the growing activities of kidnappers, bandits and other social vices.
